I thought I had posted a review previously, but I can’t find it. This is the BEST Chinese I’ve ever had and I’m very picky! All of their food is FRESH! No frozen junk. I’ve never had a bad meal there and they go above and beyond. I enjoy that their online ordering system allows for additions and special instructions. You can even choose your spice level! The only issue I had was not being able to pay online as someone else was picking my food up. I called and they simply took my credit card info. So now that I know that’s an option, I’m no longer concerned about not being able to pay online. I just want to say it again, THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE you can get! My ultimate favorite is that they use real Chinese vegetables instead of using fillers like zucchini and squash like other local establishments. The chicken tastes like real chicken, the shrimp is larger size than most places and good quality. I could go on and on about this Jewel of a place. I just placed an order ten minutes ago, and I can’t wait for my dinner!

I was visiting out of town and was looking for a place to eat that offered meat-free dishes. I love Asian cuisine, so I chose to eat at the Red Lantern House. I was initially not sure how big their portions were, and I wanted to have some left over for lunch the next day, so I did end up spending 28 on myself, plus a tip. Let me just say how big their portions are and how delicious the food it! Everything that I ordered came correctly (I know some places accidentally mix up your order, but not here!) I had plenty for dinner, lunch, and another 1-2 meals after that. So I would warrant that someone could comfortably eat here on a low budget without sacrificing quality. In addition to great food, the service was amazing. The lady who helped me cash out for my order was super friendly, even complimented my ring, and had the brightest smile! If I'm ever in the area again, I will most certainly be coming back to eat here. For reference, I got: - 1 order of spring rolls (qty: 2) - 1 order of veggie dumplings, steamed (qty: 8) - 1 order of vegetables and garlic sauce w/fried rice

If you're a fan on Chinese food, definitely come and try this place out!! The egg rolls were fantastic, the soup was so good and the service was very fast. They are certainly fast workers and don't lollygag around. My main entree was very good, I just didn't care for the crab, it wasn't real crab, but the noodles were so good!! I enjoyed my experience!!

I’ve had Chinese food up and down the east coast and this place has THE BEST tasting food by far! I took my family here while visiting over Memorial Day weekend and this amazing dinner was the highlight of our trip! Our server was very friendly and sincere. Their homemade duck sauce is out of this world as well as the chicken lo mein, general tso, shrimp fried rice, and hot and sour soup. Serious recommendation to any Chinese food lover- this is a MUST TRY -you will not regret it.

Had an amazing date night with the girlfriend, and is a must stop if you’re in Wellsboro for sure. Service was great and the Atmosphere and Food was on point. Will definitely be making an effort to go back soon. Overall amazing restaurant!

I think the reviews are pretty spot on. I live in Pittsburgh which has plenty of Chinese restaurants but lacks quality ones. This place would hold up with the best albeit slightly greasy. Best egg roll I've had in a long time and although I wasn't too familiar with lo mein in the past, I am a fan now. For the price it's excellent. I also appreciate that they offer "small" and "large" portions. Ramune sodas are a nice addition. The lychee one was amazing; has a nice bitterness to it.

Absolutely delicious food. Came here over the weekend with my friends and there’s a great mix of both authentic and fusion Chinese food. As someone who grew up in a Chinese household, this has been the only place that has done our cuisine justice. Highly recommend their most popular items like the dumplings, but don’t be afraid to try some of their more niche items! Affordable, tasty, and overall a great experience. Will be coming back!
